Outono está chegando / Autumn Is Coming

Outono está quase chegando! Gosto das cores desta estação - as folhas das árvores mudam de cor, laranja, vermelho, marron...cores tranquilas e lindas...inspirada nisso bordei este pequeno modelo de porco-espinho. O modelo era mais simples, mas como gosto quando tem mais cores acrescentei as folhas coloridas de baixo e achei na lojinha esta fita com detalhes mais de cozinha do que de outono. Mas mesmo assim coloquei e a fitinha, gostei principalmente da abóbora. A moldura comprei numa outra loja e encuadrei sozinha, acho que esta moldura combinou muito bem. As folhas que bordei peguei deste site que tem muitos motivos pequenos que são lindos para bordar aqui

 Autumn is almost coming! I do like the colours of this season - the leaves change their colours to orange, red, brown ... calm and beautiful colours...and this  inspired me to stitch this cute hedgehog. The model was simpler, but as I like more colours I added these colourful leaves under and this cute embroidered ribbon I found at the shop, the details remind more of kitchen than autumn. But anyway I added the ribbon, I liked a lot the pumpkin detail. The frame I bought from another shop and I framed it myself, in my opinion they match very well. The leaves that I stitched I got from this site where from you can find many small motifs to stitch that are so cute here

Fragrância de lavanda / Lavender fragrance

Gosto muito de lavanda e na verdade fiz alguns bordados para o banheiro - cesta enfeitada, porta papel higienico e mais algumas outras coisinhas...acho a lavanda uma flor tão cheirosa, fora da cor que é muito relaxante...como não tinha lugar para guardar os pentes revisti esta lata de compota com um bordado com lavanda...não deu muito certo mas vamos usar assim mesmo...pois não tinha a fita adhesiva dupla-face, seria mais fácil e rapido...em vez disto passei entretela no bordado que cola dos dois lados, teve que colar e fita-papel na lata... em poucas palavras ficou mais trabalhoso assim...na proxima vez com certeza vou providenciar esta tão de fita dupla face acredito que se chama...para facilitar a minha vida...pelo menos gostei muito do resultado final!!!
I do like lavender and actually I did some embroidery for the bathroom - decorated basket, toilet paper holder and a few other things ... I think the lavender is so fragrant, not to mention the colour that is very relaxing... as I've got no place to keep the hair-combs I covered this tin with a lavender embroidery ...the final result is not the best one but we are going to use it anyway ... as I haven't got a double-face tape that could make my life easier... Instead I ironed a double-face interfacing on the embroidery, afterwards I had to put a paper-tape on the tin ... in other words I gave myself a lot of work ... so the next time for sure I will provide this so called double-sided tape ... to ease my life ... at least I'm pleased with the final result!

Sirvam-se / Help yourself

Hoje a tarde fiquei bem ocupada na cozinha. Foi mais ou menos uma tarde internacional dos doces :))) Fiz pouco de brigadeiros - doce típico brasileiro - em casa gostam, menos eu...fiz muffins/bolinhos de limão com cobertura de chocolate - doce típíco americano ou pelo menos a receita é...fiz um meio doce meio salgado, usando massa para pastel, assado no forno com recheio de queijo + açúcar + bicarbonato + ovos = bánitza - é um prato típico búlgaro. Claro que isso que eu faço não é muuuito parecido com a bánitza da Búlgaria mais isto é o mais proximo que eu consigo...pelo menos todos gostam....as receitas dos muffins e a cobertura encontrei na net...

This afternoon I was quite busy in the kitchen. It was an international sweets' afternoon :))) I made some brigadeiros - typical Brazilian sweet - at home everybody likes except me ... I made lemon  muffins with chocolate frosting - a typical American or at least the recipe I made ... and I made something half sweet half sour, using dough for pastries, baked in the oven with cheese + sugar + baking soda + eggs= bánitza - it is a typical Bulgarian dish. Of course what I do is not exactly the same as the Bulgarian bánitza but it is the closest I get ... at least everyone likes ....the recipes of the lemon muffins and the frosting I found in the net...

coelhinhas coloridas / colourful bunnies

por enquanto deixei de lado os ursinhos e é a vez dos coelhinhos...tentei inventar, se posso dizer assim, um molde e as coelhinhas ficaram meio diferente, nenhuma é igual a outra mesmo que usei o mesmo molde, modificando-o beeeem pouco aqui e ali...
for now I left the teedies aside and now it is time for some bunnies...I tried to invent, if I can say so, a pattern and the bunnies got a bit different, none is like the other one even though I used the same pattern, modifying it a liiiiitle bit here and there

um pouco de rosa / some pink

...talvez por enquanto vou parar com estes ursinhos :)) este é o último e fiz para a minha filha, como ela gooooosta mesmo de rosa não poderia ter escolhido cor diferente.

...probably, for some time I won't make these teddies :))) this one is the last and I made for my daughter, as she loooooves really pink I couldn't have chosen a different colour.

Mais um vermelhinho / One more red

Bem, acho que não consigo parar com estes ursinhos e bolsinhas...é como uma terapia para mim. São coisas tão bonitinhas e faceis pra fazer. Aqui mais um ursinho com bolsinha. Coloquei um coração pronto para receber a letra do novo dono :)))

Well, I guess I just can't stop with these teddies and bags...it's like a therapy for me. They are so cute and easy to make. And here comes another teddy with a bag. I put I heart that is ready to receive the new owner`s letter :)))))

Encomenda de presente p/ bebe / Baby present order

Recebi uma encomenda para preparar um presente para um bebe-menino! Não sabia que cores usar mas acho estas que são apropriadas. Como não tinha exigências específicas sobre o presente a escolha foi minha sobre o que fazer. Ë claro que assim foi mais facil, mas espero qeu a mamãe do bebe goste tanto quanto eu gostei em fazer-lo. A idea sobre estas cores - laranja, azul e branco veio da fitinha que achei na loja toda bordada come estes lindos desenhos de ursinho - sapatinhos - blusinha que usavam estas cores. Dai decidi que vou usar as mesmas cores e nos tecidos. Acrescentei um pouco de verde aqui e ali.

I got an order to prepare a present for a baby-boy! I didn`t know what colours exactly to use but I find these ones quite appropriate. As there were no specific requirements regarding the present the choice was mine what to make. Of course it was easier this way, but I do hope the mother will like it as much as I enjoyed making it. The idea about these colours - orange, blue and white came out from this embroided ribbon with cute teddies - baby shoes - baby clothes I found in the shop using these colours. From there I decided to use the same colours for the fabrics. I added a bit of green here and there.

Coelinha vermelhinha / Red bunny

Esta coelhinha combina com uma bolsinha que fiz nas mesmas cores. Nos braços e nas pernas tem butões e assim eles se mechem. As orelhinhas são enfeitadas com lacinhos.
This bunny matches a bag I made some time ago using the same colours. On the arms and legs I sew buttons and in this way they can move. I embellished the ears with small light pink ribbons.

Flores para cabelo \ Hair flowers

Estas flores ficam muito lindas no cabelo é só colocar atrás um grampo para cabelo. Fiz nestas tres cores. A vermelha combina com a bolsa preta que fiz e enfentei com uma igual.
These flowers look just great on the hair. You just but behind a hairpin. I made in these three colours. The red one matches with my black bag that I made and embellished it with another red flower.

Matrioshki

Vi esta revista e simplesmente amei a capa para celular Matrioshka mostrada. Demorei um pouco mas ontem fiz estas duas capas. Ideia muito original para guardar o seu cellular. Uma fiz de presente para uma pessoa que gosta muuuito mesmo e a outra fiz se alguem quiser adquirir-la. Na boneca-matrioshka em lilas usei de acordo com a lista de materiais - feltrinho e ficou mais fofa. Para a outra coloquei só entretela, ficou diferente mas acho que tambem ficou bem bonitinha.
I saw this magazine and I just loved the Matrioshka cellphone bag shown on the front page. It took me a while to make it but yesterday I did. It is a very original idea to keep one`s cellphone. I made one as a gift for a person who just looooves Matrioshki and the other one can be acquired. For the lilac matrioshka-doll I used some felt according to the list material and it turned out so fluffy. For the other one I used only fusible, it is a bit different but still it is quite cute.
