I do like surfing the net, looking for new ideas ... that's how I found this beautiful blog, I was enchanted with everything I saw there ... Barbara - the owner of the blog - shows a super interesting step-by-step roses made with tea bags that are so charming and delicate!!!! Can you believe this?? I am always amazed when I meet creative people who use trash to create luxury ... my roses are not perfect but the good thing is that Barbara explains that the first time she made those they were not that good (I doubt but...) so I calmed myself down ... I'm not very good with the hot glue and I do not know whether our tea bags are smaller than the U.S. ones ... and as I was out of black tea - my favourite one, I have just herbs tea, I had to colour in some way the bags to give that touch of old ... then I used a different technique - the shells of boiled onions ... this is my result ... I do not know what I'll decorate with these delicate roses, but it won't take long to invent something ...Barbara, thanks for the incredible tutorial!!!!

    Beijos carinhosos,
    Nena.

  8. Oh Nadya, your little tea bag roses are wonderful!! You did a great job, and the little pearls in the middle, how beautiful and wonderful idea.
And even just setting them in the wine glass. How sweet and clever you are.

Blessings as you create with your heart.

PS Thank you for link to my tutorial.
and, I now use glue sticks instead of glue gun. Not so many burnt fingers. =)
