As I was without a PC,a printer and my sewing machine - which in fact, still doesn't function, I got some time to think of and search for some new ideas. One of the things I made was this flower. In different blogs I saw, even I made some flowers using hot glue. But I wasn't quite happy with the final result as the flower stays a bit strongand stiff, and some that I glued on a cushion fell down. That is why I decided to use the old and secure way - a neelde and thread. I didn't use the hot glue but I sewed the flower instead and it turned out equally beautiful. Now, I have only to find something to embellish. I took a pic front and back.
Another thing that I liked is paper butterflies. I find them soo beautiful, one can embellish any thing. I started a project and the first part can be seen here, my scrapbooking paper butterfly. I also started this crochet doilie that is supposed to be a gift if I manage to finish it. I've got some difficulties understanding the pattern :(
...and something that really impressed me were the stamped jute cushions. I bought some jute, unfortunately, I couldn't find what I wanted so I will try with the one I bought. The first try was with this crown I printed on transfer paper and I ironed on the jute. I do not know if using stencil the result will be better, but as I have never used stencil before I will do the way I know. I do not know whether I will frame this piece of jute or just leave it like that.
